Embarking on a road trip to Yunnan in a motorhome

Spend a day walking around Stone Forest's unique karst formations as time leisurely passes by. The second stop is Dali, a city known for its ancient townships towering over Erhai Lake and where peace prevails. Visiting with your family in a motorhome will create many great memories.  

The third stop is Jianshui, a small town on the southwestern border, with a strong Central Plains cultural atmosphere. Explore the ancient city of Jianshui, which dates back over 1,200 years. Visit the Chaoyang Tower with its 600-year history and the Zhu Family Garden with its layout of four vertical and three horizontal courtyards. Each courtyard has its own unique features and exudes an elegant and refined atmosphere.

You can take a walk around Dabanjing to see the well-preserved water wells and try some freshly made Jianshui tofu, which has a firm texture. Then experience the narrow-gauge rice paddy train, part of the Hanoi-Yunnan Railway built over 100 years ago. It offers close-up views of the Jianshui Ancient Bridge, one of China's top ten famous bridges and known for its multiple arches.

Just next to Jianshui Ancient Bridge is a motorhome campsite where you can enjoy breathtaking views of the bridge, especially during sunrise and sunset. The campsite provides water and electricity facilities as well as toilets and showers. There is also a nearby village with a market where you can easily buy groceries for cooking. The sightseeing narrow-gauge train passes by, adding to the unique scenery of the campsite.
