Programme profile: The dance the Huashan Festival reflects the scene of the Miao people dressed in costumes, singing and dancing to celebrate the Huashan Festival, a traditional festival of the Miao community.

Everyone, men and women, young and older, is welcomed to join the dance. People maintain a jumping step, even play to the tune of Lusheng, a reed-pipe wind instrument.

Through the presentation of traditional songs and dances of the Miao people, it shows a scene of jubilation in the Huashan field, conveying the joy of the harvest and their hopes of a good year ahead.
