Fuxian Lake is a huge expanse of water. It’s also the deepest lake in Yunnan, with depths of up to 509 feet. It is the third-deepest fresh water lake in all of China, after Tianchi Lake and Kanas Lake.
Yuxi is a city in central Yunnan in the region of three great lakes, Fuxian, Xingyun and Qilu. Yuxi is well-known across China as home to Yunnan tobacco. It is rich in both historic landmarks and natural beauty.
