Dance: Blessing

The folk dance "Blessing" incorporates the unique cultural elements of 26 ethnic groups in Yunnan, including the peacock dance of the Dai people, the octagonal drum of the Bai people, and the dance elements of the Yi people, as well as the costume elements of 26 ethnic groups. All bringing best wishes for peace and prosperity, happiness and good luck in Chinese New Year.

Acrobatic Program: Drum from Dai People

The elephant foot drum is one of the most popular performances performed by Dai young men and women in Yunnan, China. The programme, full of strength and bravery, is a show of superb skills of balancing strength.

In February 2015, the programme won the Silver Award at the 4th Figueras City International Circus Festival in Spain; and in July 2020, it won the "Yunnan Acrobatics · Golden Wire Award".
