Dance of the Yi nationality, Asi Dance Under Moonlight

Programme profile: “Asi Dance Under Moonlight” is one of the main dance types of intangible cultural heritage recognised by China. The dance reflects the lively dance scene of the Torch Festival of the Yi People and shows the traditional dance of Asi Dance Under Moonlight with a new perspective, expressing the compliments of the Yi nationality for their happy life today.

This dance won the bronze medal of the 5th CCTV Dance Competition for the Group Dance and the third prize of the 8th National Dance Competition.
